(20 minutes; includes 10 minute LampLOC™ alignment)
1. Ensure power to the projector is disabled. Allow the fans to automatically turn OFF before
disconnecting the AC power cord and opening the projector. This takes approximately 15 minutes.
2. Open the lamp door skin.
3. Use a #1 Phillips™ to remove the 2 captive screws securing the lamp access door.
4. Remove the cathode clamp from the lamp (Figure 2-16, F).
5. Using the Allen™ key, provided on the rear door, loosen the nut on the cathode end of the lamp
(Figure 2-16, E).
6. Use a #3 Phillips™ to loosen the nut securing the anode wire (Figure 2-16, D).
7. Remove the Ballast Terminal Insulator by unscrewing the 2 black captive screws (#2 Phillips™)
and pulling it straight out (Figure 2-16, C).
8. Hold the lamp from the anode end and carefully slide out ensuring not to make contact with the
reflector (Figure 2-16, A). Using your other hand guide the cathode end out of the reflector, on an
angle.
