7. Reverse the above steps to install the 220V AC line filter.
A/C SELECTOR SWITCH
1. Disconnect the AC power cord.
2. Unlock the rear lamp door.
3. Remove top lid. Refer to 2.5.5 Top Lid, on page 2-10
.
4. Remove lamp door frame skin. Refer to 2.5.11 Lamp Door Frame Skin, on page 2-14
.
5. Disconnect the 6 harnesses from the AC selector switch (Figure 2-31, A).
6. Use a #1 Phillips™ to remove the 2 screws securing the AC selector switch to the rear skin frame.
7. Reverse the above steps to install the AC selector switch.
2.7 CARDCAGE AND LVPS COMPARTMENT
2.7.1 CARDCAGE MODULE
The cardcage module consists of a split faceplate. When the screws are loosened the top plate can be
flipped up allowing access to all the boards except the PCM.
(30 minutes)
1. Remove top lid. Refer to 2.5.5 Top Lid,
on page 2-10.
2. Remove the 6 screws securing the high
security cover, unlock the high security
access lock, lift the lid and slide out.
3. Remove the intake duct. Refer to 2.5.12
Intake Duct, on page 2-15.
4. Use a #2 Phillips™ to loosen the 2
thumbscrews on the top of the cardcage.
5. Unclip the harness clips securing the
harnesses (Figure 2-32).
6. Disconnect the 6 light engine
communication and 3 power harnesses
from the FFIB. Refer to the Interconnect
Drawing.
7. Use a #1 Phillips™ to remove the 6
screws securing the split faceplate to the cage (2 on each side and 4 along bottom).
8. To access the Motherboard connections push from the back of the cardcage and pull on the handles
to move it out a few centimeters.
DANGER
Always wear protective safety clothing and a face shield when performing service
with the service safety shield removed (i.e., LVPS rail adjustment).
