Section 5: Parts and Module Replacement
2.6.6 UV FILTER
The UV filter is secured to the end of the light tube. In the instance that a lamp explosion occurs the
UV filter will need to be replaced.
(60 minutes; includes 10 minute LampLOC™ alignment)
1. Open the lamp door frame skin.
2. Remove top lid. Refer to 2.5.5 Top Lid, on page 2-10
.
3. Remove the lamp. Refer to 2.5.14 Remove Lamp, on page 2-18
.
4. Remove the reflector assembly. Refer to 2.6.4 Reflector Assembly (Including Heat Dump), on page
2-22.
5. Use a #1 Phillips™ to remove the top 2 screws and attached clamps (Figure 2-24, A).

6. Slowly loosen the 3rd screw until the glass can be removed
(Figure 2-24, B).
7. Reverse the above steps to reinstall. Ensure the filter is installed
with the arrow indicator on the edge of the filter pointing towards
the lamp (Figure 2-25).
8. Perform LampLOC™ adjustment. For details, refer to the
CP2000M-MR User Manual (020-100123-xx).
CAUTION
Handle the UV filter by its edges while wearing clean, lint free gloves.
